March? Are you kidding me?

As I’m sitting here trying to enjoy a little bit of Vampire Weekend on Spotify, I can’t help but wander off into the list of things I have to complete for this up-coming week. It’s such a simple list, but I just can’t seem to find the time nor motivation to complete it.

Since I’m so busy with work and school, I feel like it’s only been the first week of school and I’m still in the “syllabus” week where students can afford to do… well, nothing at all. To my discontent, it’s already March and midterms are coming up. How am I going to handle it all? Well, we shall see. It’ll be interesting. I’m going to have to really bust my butt to do decently on exams. Considering I never study, and simply rely on being in class and doing homework, I’m terrified since I’ve been skipping classes to finish homework.

On Thursday when I came home from school, I made myself a to-do list consisting of:

  • update portfolio
  • critical thinking essay
  • digital illustration drawing – email professor a rough
  • liberal studies journal.

Let’s face it though, I’d be lucky if I got the essay done. So, with that I shall stop blogging and get on that. I’ve even considered suspending my Facebook so that I’m not distracted with it. It’s just so convenient… haha.

Adios.

November turned into January quickly

I started working on re-doing /re-designing my blog mid November. It is now mid January and I haven’t blogged at all. How sad. It’s just sad. I wish I could keep up with blogging, reading, and the whole web design and developing world that I will always enjoy.

But, I’ve been putting it off for several reasons. The biggest factor (not an excuse) is that school has been keeping me incredibly busy. I only have time to spare now, because I’m still on winter break. I begin school in a week and do not feel prepared at all. I thought I would use this winter break to work on my website and my freelance work, but I took a spontaneous vacation and had to choose between my freelance work and my blog and personal work. Another reason is that to be honest, I’m still not completely comfortable with WordPress. I especially do not like their “themes” because I don’t know the codes for specific elements. As you can probably see, some things are still out of place. ):  It’s still a learning process for me, and as aforementioned, I barely even have time for school and work.

I’m writing this now, because I just feel like writing and because Lorem Ipsum looked stupid.

Peace. Don’t know when I’ll be back, but I hope it’ll be soon.
